It’s a sad thing that we give priority to the things we will never have forever. This is not to mean it is wrong to have natural blessings like a good car, fine education or a fancy lifestyle.

The is truth, God wants all of these for us even more but we must be careful of the deceitfulness of wordly pleasure and concentration on SELF.

Acquisition without heaven in-view is damnation without knowing.

Mark 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Before we came into this world, people were, things were and certainly we will still leave them behind.

Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Eternity is the only world without end, where we will live forever either with God or the Devil.

This is the only generation that I know that is highly competitive, desiring vain things that are subject to decay and destruction. The desires for pleasures, food, good living without a ONE MINUTE relationship with God even in prayer is fast fading away.

Parents no longer consider devotion as anything important. Attending to the social need of the children is given more priority than their spiritual well being. Isn’t this a clear indication that we are in the last days.

These are individuals who are quick to spend on luxury, good cars, finest gadgets, good homes, expensive jewelries. They budget tirelessly for these things working so hard but hardly think about the kingdom of God and the return of Christ. They Lay up treasures here n earth for themselves but soon they forget that it doesn’t last.

The zeal for acquisition and materalism is fast taking our fellowship. God wants our hearts back, He loves relationship.

Don’t forget, we are pilgrims on earth. heaven is our home.
