The devil is scared of this part of knowledge. He knows you won’t take it easy on him. So he carefully wants to frustrate the human race with the lifestyle of self-contentment, never willing to do the extra so we won’t come to the fullness of Christ and the blessings accompanying salvation.

As Christians, our most basic religious belief is that God exists. By the capitalized word “God,” we mean the God described in the Bible; who cares about us, who cares about what we do, who is involved in our lives, and who offers us an eternity with His goodness.

We equally believe that this God, Who is our Creator and is sovereign over all, loves us. As Ephesians 1:4-5 puts it, God made us, humans, the focus of His love. When we wandered away and we missed His grace, He came for us in His love; showering us with undeserved mercy and favour. We were never looking for Him – although we were the ones who wronged Him – He looked for us.

Man left God in Adam. God returned man to Himself in Jesus Christ. This is the story of grace, mercy, and the unadulterated favour of God. All of these is not what we deserve. And we definitely deserve nothing of this. The story of man is a story of love. This is why God would always meet the repentant man with His grace, mercy, and favour.

Beloved, this is the life God has called every man – including you – into. You are not ready for what is about to hit you. You may not have discovered all of God’s blessings and privileges for you. When you eventually do, as I trust this book will help you, you will realise how great God’s grace, mercy, and favour is to you, and how much God is desperate to make you a recipient of all these and more in Him.
